About Me
Hi, my name is Raiza (pronounced Rye-zuh). I’ve been planning events since my middle school student council days and haven’t stopped since. Over the years, I’ve organized everything from club banquets to large community engagement programs to now planning and executing professional events in my current role.
I studied Television Writing and Producing at Columbia College Chicago, where I discovered my love for planning, budgeting, and bringing creative visions to life. While my career path evolved, those skills have remained the heart of what I do. My passion for coordination, love of Excel sheets, and drive for organization all fuel my love for what I do.
Outside of work
Personal
Outside of work, I like to stay physically active through long-distance running, self defense classes, and martial arts. All keep me disciplined, focused, and continually working toward my goals.
Creative
I love to try new creative avenues. My current hype fixation has been exploring nature photography. I love capturing small details through macro shots, which feeds my creative side and eye for detail.
